The AR Windshield

Who needs a GPS unit on their dash when their windshield itself is powered by Garmin? We’re picturing map overlays, turn by turn directional arrows, and street names clearly labeled from far away. No more looking away from the road, and no more confusing intersections and missed turns. We think we’ll never have to hear the words “recalcuating” again!

AR기술을 자동차 Navigation으로 적용해보려는 사례이네요. 이부분이 가능할 지는 모르겠지만

이런게 나오면 정말 괜찮을 것 같다는 생각이... 만든다면 GPS와 카메라를 가지고 만들 것이고

유리에 어떻게 표시를 해 주느냐가 관건이긴 한데.. 이런거 개발하면 대박날듯...^^

The AR Door Peephole

When someone knocks on our door, we want to know not only if they look like a murderer, but also their name and age. This could be possible using a facial recognition camera built into the peephole. While we’re at it, why not a quick popup of our visitor’s Facebook profile or their most recent tweet? In an AR world, ain’t nobody taking us by surprise!

이것도 참 잼있는 내용이네요. 누군가 집을 Knock 했을때 문을 통해 보이는 상대방에 대한 정보를

보여주는... 이러면 누군지 파악이 되니 문을 열어줄지 말지 결정할 수도 있겠다는 생각이 듭니다.

얼굴인식 기술등을 이용할런지 어떤 기술을 사용할 건지 기술적으로는 알기 힘들겠지만, 일단

이런 증강현실관련되어 좋은 사례들이 많이 나왔으면 좋겠네요.

Ever get lost in a new city? How about your current one? We have. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to whip out your phone and see a visible trail of where you’ve been? Using the GPS and camera, this should be entirely possible, even with the limited AR tech that’s out now.

걷다가 길을 잃어버렸을때... 이전에 있던 장소를 찾아가고 싶을때...

이런 app은 나올법두 한데요.. GPS와 Camera를 가지고 만들 수 있을 것 같네요.

사용자가 걸어왔던 route를 기억해서 카메라 view로 보여주고 있네요.

정보를 제공해 줍니다. 좀더 응용을 해보면, 야구장이나 축구장등 운동경기에 사용해 선수들의 정보나

기록등을 쌍안경에서 보여주는 Service도 나올 수 있을 것 같네요.

The AR Contact Lenses

All we need now is a way to plug a USB cable into our brains so we can THINK our status updates instead of typing. (Optional: AR glasses for those with sensitive corneas.)

이건 Contact Lenses에 AR을 적용한 사례입니다. 렌즈를 통해 사람들의 정보등을 볼 수 있는 서비스 이네요.

당장은 적용이 좀 어렵지 않을까 생각되지만,  가까운 미래에는 가능할 수도 있을것 같다는 생각도 드네요.

정말 Contact Lense에 사람들의 정보가 보인다면, 음.. 저라면 먼저 전과자들에 대한 기록은 모두 여기에

담아 보고 싶네요. 길가다가 전과자가 보이면 피하게...  전자팔찌를 차면 무슨 소용이 있을까요...

일반인들은 누군지 모르는데^^
