The iJingleBells app is versatile enough to be played in two different ways:

1. Move the iPhone up and down in front of you, as if you were swinging a handheld bell. In this case, a note will sound at the top and bottom of your motion.

2. Imagine that a xylophone sits on a table in front of you. Move the iPhone as though you were tapping the xylophone with a mallet so that the note triggers only when you “touch” a virtual bar.
